Pricing
Facebook ad spy tool pricing
Pricing runs from $0 to $149 a month at entry. Three tools publish a genuinely free level, paid access starts at $39.99 for a single channel, and the ceiling on a standard plan is $499. Every figure below is quoted from the vendor's own page.
What every tool charges to get in
Ten tools, sorted by what it costs to open an account. “Entry” is the cheapest level a vendor publishes, including free ones; “ceiling” is the highest standard plan on the same page. Where a vendor sells channels separately, the entry price buys one channel, not the product.

AdSpy — adspy.com, single plan stated on the home page; no separate pricing page, read 23 September 2026.
BigSpy — bigspy.com, pricing page serves an empty shell that never fills; tiers read on the home page, read 23 September 2026.
Anstrex — anstrex.com, prices sit on the home product cards; /pricing returns 404, read 23 September 2026.
AdPlexity — adplexity.com/pricing, plain HTML; adplexity.io is a separate product and is not the tool listed here, read 23 September 2026.
The board is flatter than it looks. Four of the ten entry prices sit within twenty dollars of each other, so the cheapest tool is rarely the cheapest answer to a question — what separates them is how much of the product the entry level carries. Anstrex is the lowest paid entry at $39.99 and buys one channel; PowerAdSpy asks $69 and delivers two of its eleven networks; Spytrend asks $79 and delivers the whole archive.
Three tools publish a free level
Free means different things on each. Only one of the three is a plan with published caps rather than a trial that expires.
BigSpy — a plan, not a trial
Five searches and twenty creative downloads a day, no card and no stated expiry, with paid access from $69 a month.
Spytrend — Starter, free forever
Limited ad database, basic ad information and basic search; Pro at $79 a month lifts the search limits and adds owner-level grouping.
Meta Ad Library — free, but it forgets
First-party and free, but it drops commercial ads once the advertiser stops them, and publishes no spend, run length or targeting.
Credits, not flat access
One vendor in this category sells credits rather than time, so its sticker price is not its monthly bill.
PiPiADS Basic tier lists at $69 and runs at $49 on a standing flash discount, and carries 30,000 credits; Advanced lists at $159 and runs at $99 with 100,000. Credits are spent one per record returned and twenty per detail view, so a heavy research month costs more than the sticker price and a light month costs less.
Flat-rate tools make the monthly bill predictable instead:Spytrend at $79 and AdSpy at $149 charge the same whatever the volume of research.
What the $49 to $99 band buys
The crowded part of the ladder. Four tools, four different questions — not the same question at four prices.
Minea — $49
Adds Pinterest and Shopify shop data no other tool here carries, but publishes no base-size figure, so its coverage cannot be compared on numbers.
TrendTrack — €49
Publishes 5 million top-selling stores and over 250 million ads, adding 2 million a day, with the store traffic, products, reviews and email flows alongside its ads.
PowerAdSpy — $69
Reaches Quora, Reddit and LinkedIn that nobody else here covers, but those sit on its $399 plan: the $69 entry buys Facebook and Instagram only.
Spytrend — $79
A five-year archive of 1.1 billion Meta ads, joined per owner by pixel, domain, Page ID and IP — the only one in this band that reconstructs a competitor whole history.
Questions
Asked the way buyers ask them, answered from the figures above.
How much do Facebook ad spy tools cost per month?
Between $0 and $149 to get in, and up to $499 on a standard top plan. Free levels exist at the Meta Ad Library, BigSpy and Spytrend; paid access starts at $39.99 (Anstrex, one channel), runs through $49 (Minea, TrendTrack, PiPiADS discounted) and $79 (Spytrend Pro), and tops out at $149 for AdSpy single plan.
Which Facebook ad spy tools have a free trial?
PiPiADS publishes a trial of 500 credits with no card. BigSpy and Spytrend do better than a trial: both publish a standing free plan — BigSpy at five searches a day, Spytrend Starter tier free forever with a limited ad database. AdSpy, AdPlexity, Anstrex, Minea, TrendTrack and PowerAdSpy publish no free level at all.
Do ad spy tools publish monthly and annual plans?
TrendTrack publishes monthly, quarterly and annual prices side by side (€49, €41, €34 on Starter); Minea publishes monthly and quarterly ($49 and $39); Spytrend publishes a per-seat Team price of $63.20 against $79 monthly. AdSpy, AdPlexity and Anstrex publish a monthly price only.
What do TikTok ad spy tools cost?
PiPiADS is the TikTok specialist and starts at $49 on its standing discount, sold as 30,000 credits. Anstrex covers TikTok through its InStream module at $39.99. Spytrend carries TikTok alongside Facebook on one $79 account rather than as a separate module, and PowerAdSpy reaches TikTok only on its $399 plan.
Which ad spy tool is best value for an agency?
It depends on how many channels and seats the agency runs. PowerAdSpy at $399 is the only tool here covering eleven networks including LinkedIn and Quora; Spytrend publishes a Team price of $63.20 a seat for 4–20 members, the only per-seat figure in the category; AdSpy $149 single plan carries no seat tier at all.
Are ad spy tools and the Meta Ad Library the same thing?
No. The Meta Ad Library is Meta own free archive of ads running right now, and it drops commercial ads once they stop. Ad spy tools are third-party products that keep ads after they stop and add what Meta does not publish — Spytrend, for example, holds a five-year archive of 1.1 billion Meta ads and groups them by owner.
